The Call of God

Chapter One

Our Call to "Repentance" (not tradition)

To have an understanding of the call of God for men and women everywhere to repent makes it easier for us to grasp what the "righteous life" is. (Acts 17:22-30)

There is a difference between religious effort ... and God's righteousness that is born out of repentance.

All too often the message of the Gospel has been preached overlooking this whole area, and has settled for just believing in Jesus as one's savior ... so that one might go to Heaven when he, or she, dies.  This leaves the individual only in the carnal mind-state of a philosophy, and without the Christ experience in their daily lives.

To preach the Gospel without the idea of repentance, is to preach the Gospel without the idea of new birth, the Kingdom of God, or righteousness:  and this makes even the act of baptism of no effect. (Luke ch.3, Acts ch.2, Hebrews ch.6)

Repentance is the reconsideration of the purpose of oneself in this earth. It is the reconsideration of our opinion of God's rulership, and intention, over our life.  (in the "now", today)

Repentance, is changing the set of the will to view God's leadership in our life as all important, rather than that of our own pursuits.  (or maybe those that another person has set for us)

There is no religious tradition that can take the place of this Spiritual experience.  It is repentance.  (St. John 3:1-21)

*It's at this point that "faith" and  "hesitation" meet to struggle.

This awaking unto Righteousness opens a whole new world, and introduces one to the Kingdom of God.  (St. Matthew 6:19-34)

The fact that we were born into a system that predetermined and conditioned our way of thinking from childhood leaves us with the disgusting obstacle that we call our "defined set of decision making rules".

Every time we are faced with a decision, we reach for our judging ability that we have inherited, and hastily give forth our verdict.  (Genesis 3:1-7, Romans 5:12,19)

This self-sufficiency, and independence from God, is unrighteousness no matter how we "dress it up", and excuse it.

There is only one righteousness, and that is the deed and expression of the Spirit of God ... through His people in the earth.

Our good deeds, and religious efforts in this earth, are not necessarily His intentions. They may not be part of His Kingdom expression in our generation.  (Acts 1:3,8)

Our efforts even to stay away from religion may not always be His intention, and therefore not part of His Kingdom.

He is the Supreme Ruler of His Kingdom, and He demands back that right to express His works, and glory, through each of us.  (Romans ch.8)

He demands a new start in the individual under the direction of His Spirit.

(St. John ch.3, 1 Peter 4:10-11)

___

"Then Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and said, ...

Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost.  (here is the "message", and the "Spirit")

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off,  even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

The Word of God

Chapter Two

"Word" and "Blessing"

To know the experience of Kingdom "living" one must first have a realization of what the word of God is, and come to know the working power of the Word.

Secondly, we need to understand the term blessing, and truly come to know what it means.

The idea of "blessing" throughout scripture, (whether it be God "blessing" man, or man "blessing" God), ... is translated from the Old Testament word, "ba'rak" (Heb.), ... and the New Testament Greek word, "enlogeo".

Both of these words mean to pronounce blessed, but the primary meaning is - to convey a gift by "potent utterance". (eg. Genesis 1:22,28)

When a man or woman is said to bless God we normally refer to praise, and thanksgiving, but we will soon see that this extends to obedient service and giving; ... and to being and living. (thus, furthering, or fulfilling,  ... the "utterance")

*This is the "blessing" ... that fulfills the call of the Word.

What we see is a realization of Divine intervention.

This is God's blessing in the earth: the eloquent light that shines as He fulfills His Word.

We are to act (bless) in His name, ... only by the word of His Spirit.

___

Psalms 145,  Nehemiah 9:1-8 (esp.vs.5),   St. Luke 1:57-69 (esp.vs.64), St. Luke 24:36-53 (esp.vs.53),   St. Matthew ch.13 (esp.vs.16)

When we are introduced to the Gospel, we are introduced to the importance of the Word of God's Spirit.   (St. John ch.1)

Spirit meeting Word = "light"

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God, and the Word became flesh,  ... and we beheld His glory.

In Him was life; and the life was the "light" of men.  And the "light" shines in darkness ...

___

  the "Word" as Seed

"A Sower went out to sow the "word" (logos),  and as he sowed, some fell by the wayside, and the devil came and took the "word" out of their hearts, lest they should believe,  ... and be saved.

And some fell upon a rock;  and as soon as it sprung up,  it withered away, because it  lacked moisture.  These are they, when they hear, receive the "word" (logos)  with joy.  These have no root.  They believe (the message) for awhile, and in time of temptation fall away.

And some fell among thorns;  and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.  These are they which, when they heard, go forward ... and are choked with cares, and riches, and pleasures of this life, ... and bring no fruit to perfection.

And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bore fruit;  a  hundred fold.  These are they, which when they heard the "word", ... in an honest and good heart, keep it,  (make it their own "possession")   (all of it),  and bring forth fruit with patience.

Take care "how you hear".  For whosoever "has",  to him shall be given, ... and whosoever "has not",  from him shall be taken even that which he seems to have.  Hear the "word" of God, (logos)  ... and "do" it!"

- St. Matthew ch.13

____

There must first be a sowing of the message.

Then, ... there must be ... a "time" of contemplation, when one considers how they will make this message their own; and whether, or not, they will reject the things ... that choke out the "Word".

It's at this point that growth, fruitfulness, and "blessing", can begin.

The Spirit of God fulfills the word with realization; and then by active faith on the part of the hearer, the "light" arises out of a dark place.

The first thing that we notice from the Parable of the Sower is that   ...

* they all "received the Word",  ...  but ...

1.  Some were careless with it,  ...  and let it be "taken away".  I can't remember how many times I have told people to write the thought down, ... contemplate it,  ... make it your own, and pray for more realization of it.  (I think this really says something about where our ambitions are)

2.  With some other folk ... the Word sprung up.  It confronted them. They may have even talked about it as conversation, but they didn't ask the Spirit to apply it to their life.  They didn't have a "relationship" of their own with God; so it "died out".  (Sometimes we struggle until it "takes root" in us.  - they didn't)

3.  And with others, it sprung up.   They applied it to their life.  They even developed roots, and practiced it.  But, it choked out.  These are they which, when they heard, go forward, and are choked with cares, and riches,  and pleasures of this life, ... and bring no fruit to perfection.

4.  And other, ... fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bore fruit;  ... a hundred fold.  These are they which when they heard the Word, in an honest and good heart keep it (make it their own, all of it), and bring forth fruit ... with patience.

Take care how you hear,  ...and do it !

The Word of God is like a seed.  It will spring up.  How one deals with the Word, does write the story of one's life.

The shift from word to eloquent light, happens only with careful, obedient,  ... patient,  ... "active faith".

Chapter three

The Spirit of God

Chapter Three

  You and the "Holy Spirit"

"He (or she) that believes on me, the works that I do shall he (or she) do also; and even greater works ...

If you love me ... keep my  "commandments" (Gk. "prescription")

And I will pray to the Father, and He shall give you another, that He may abide with you forever ("forever");  even the "Spirit of truth", whom the world  (world concept) cannot receive,  because it doesn't see Him, and doesn't know Him. But you know Him, for He dwells with you, and shall be in you.

At that day, you shall know:  ... I in My Father, you in me, and I in you.

The Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,  ... He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.

Peace, I leave with you.    My peace I give to you ..."

- St. John 14:12 -27

In the above teaching of Jesus (to His disciples), we have an interesting combination of "works", ... "words", ... "Spirit".

The lesson is that if you remove one of these you do not have the "creative expression" of God's intent.   (the logos)

To remove one of these, you will not have the eloquence: ... the  "light that shines".

* The word "eloquence" is translated from the Greek word  "logios" (derived from the parent word "logos"),  ... and means  ... a "fluent" expressor (orator)

___

learn from  Jesus ...

"All that Jesus began to both do, and teach, until the day in which He was taken up.   (now the shift)    "After that",  he, through the Holy Ghost had  given commandments unto the apostles.  (about what?)    Speaking of the things  ...  pertaining to the Kingdom of God".

- Acts 1:1-3

"It is not for you to know the times, or the seasons, which the Father has put in His own Power.   But, you shall receive power (for miracles) after the Holy Ghost has come  "upon" you.

(upon  - Gk.  Epi   - could be a "hovering", or  "superimposition"   - see:  St. John 14:17)

And you shall be "witnesses"  (evidence, the light) unto "me" (my ministry) ... unto the uttermost part of the earth."

- Acts 1:7-8

___

learn from Paul ...

"And Paul the apostle asked them, Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed ?

And they said to him, we have not so much as heard whether there be  ... any Holy Ghost.

(Paul speaks to them ...)

When they heard this, they were baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus.     And when Paul laid hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spoke with tongues, and prophesied.

And Paul went into the synagogue, and spoke boldly for 3 months, ... the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.   And God wrought "special miracles" by the hands of Paul."

- Acts 19:1-11

learn  from Peter ...

"Then Peter said to them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you, ... in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, (future generations),  even to as many as the Lord our God shall call. (comp: 2 Peter 3:9)

And with many other words, did he testify and exhort, saying,  ...  save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Then, they that gladly received his word were baptized:  and they continued steadfastly,  ... and many signs and wonders were done, ... and they continued in the temple praising God... and the Lord added to the church daily ..."

- Acts 2:38-47

learn  from Joel ...

"This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel.  It shall come to pass in the last days, says God,  that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh:  and your sons, and daughters, shall prophesy,  and your young men shall see visions,  and your old men shall dream dreams:  and on My servants, and on My handmaidens,  I will pour out in those days of My Spirit;  and they shall prophesy.  And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved."

Joel ch.2

Chapter four

triwebbkSm.jpg

The Light of God

Chapter Four

The "Light"

When we talk about this eloquence, or the "light" that shines, I think it should be now clear ... that we are not talking about the good efforts that are put forward by human creativity.

When we refer back to the beginning of the ministry of Jesus we need to remember that there were religious people, temples, schools, Holy Books, and groups of monks.

What we are talking about has nothing to do with "human good intention".

This light has nothing to do with learned religion, or "good living", or polished ability, or even what group you are a part of.

This "light that shines" ... has nothing to do with your age, or what you have done in the past, or even where you came from, ... or what your "opinion" is.

One cannot do anything good enough, or offer anything good enough, to please God.  He only wants to express Himself, and His intention (idea) through a yielded human offspring.  (St. John ch.3,  Romans ch.8)

When we realize that this is God's light, a fulfillment of one of "God's thoughts" (Word), ... then it would do us well to have a "listening ear", and to receive and accommodate His Spirit.

This is not man's eloquence at play, but rather God's light that shines as He fulfills His "declared Word", and brings His eternal intention ... into fruitful expression.

When God spoke to Moses, giving him instruction in worship and servitude for His people of Israel, He said this ...

"You shall not make with Me gods of silver, neither shall you make unto you gods of gold.

An altar of earth you shall make unto Me,  and you shall sacrifice on that ... your burnt offerings, and your peace offerings.  And, if you make Me an altar of stone you shall not build it of hewn stone:  for if you lift up your tool upon it, you have polluted it.

Neither shall you go up by steps unto My altar, that your nakedness be not discovered thereon."

- Exodus 20:23-26

___

Carnality always puts forth human agenda, and human accomplishment, so that others might see, and be impressed.

Man has polished his beautiful gods of equipment, and utensils, and has built his beautiful altars; and this has impressed people.  But, these people do not  ... know God.

These groups grow by "crowd pleasing", friendly activity, promotion, and ambitious agenda.  They are winners, but not "witnesses".  They're not God's people.

You won't hear much preaching about the Kingdom of God. You won't see much evidence of the Holy Spirit ministering to people. You won't hear the phrase,  ...

"I believe the Spirit of God is saying this about this situation".

* Read:  Joel 2: 12-14;  Amos 1:14; 1 Peter ch.2, ch. 4:9-11

____

The importance of "individuality"

We need to understand the truth of "Being", not "Blaming".  Do you remember when I said that "we look in the wrong place"?

It is "you" that is called to be a light.  (St. Matthew 5:1-20, 6:9-2)

Each person has within themselves a resounding "expression" of God's image ... that is "unique".

When the Holy Spirit brings a realization of the Word to someone, and they express this in an act of faith, then light arises out of darkness, and we see that eloquence shining.  (St. Matthew 4:16,17)

So, it should be remembered ... that we find that "light" in the Kingdom of God.   And,   ... where is the Kingdom of God ?

"Neither shall they say, Lo here!  or,  Lo there!   For behold, the Kingdom of God is within you."

-  St. Luke 17:21

"You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people;  that you should show forth the praises of Him,  who has called you out of darkness,  into His marvelous "light"."

- 1 Peter 2:9

"This then, is the message that we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is "light", and in Him is no darkness at all.

If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  but, if we walk in the "light",  as He is in the "light",  we have fellowship, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son, cleanses us from all sin."

- 1 John 1:5-7

So, here we are:  ...  we begin where we're at.     (Start where you received the realization)

We build upon realization

The light that shines out from us is the expression of Spiritual realization, not religious teaching.

____

Open to Change ??   (... this is it)

"Light" is not written scripture.     It is found in realization of Word, and seen when  expressed.    (St. John ch.1)

If you want a carnal church ... choose carnal leadership.

The buzz should not be about  "what's happening in the Group".  The buzz should be about  "what's happening in the   Kingdom of God".

People are being "told" that they are saved, ... but, they've never been born again  by the Holy Spirit.    They've never  left  "self-building".   (listen to their prayers)

They've never heard the Spirit of God, and are not part of the Kingdom of God,  because they've never  been  introduced to the Kingdom of  God.

We cannot substitute activity, and good works,  ...  for the Gospel.

We cannot substitute  "bible study" ... for the "Word of God".     We cannot substitute  "talent"  ...  for  "Spiritual Gifts".

We cannot substitute  "a pious look" ... for  the "anointing".      We cannot substitute  "a building" ... for  a  "Spiritual household".

We cannot substitute  "a savior" ... for  "repentance"

Intercession is good if it's for the Kingdom of God.       If in question ?      ...   ask  the Holy Spirit.

Is there a need for "eloquent light"  to arise ?  ... Yes!

Our message is not one of destructive criticism, but rather a call to the Kingdom of God.      The Creator's Spiritual light must be exposed,   ...  for that is the true Gospel.

The Ministry of Others

Chapter Five

The Presence

It's important for us to understand the "source" of the Christ ministry.  Listen to Isaiah, as he spoke the prophetic Word of the Spirit ... to explain this phenomenon.

"Awake, awake: put on your strength, O Zion;  put on your beautiful garments.

Shake yourself from the dust; arise, and sit down, (Jerusalem); loose yourself from the bands of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

For, this is what the LORD says, You have sold yourselves for nothing; and you shall be redeemed without money.

For, this is what the LORD God says, My people went down before this time into Egypt to live there; and the Assyrian oppressed them ... without cause.

Now therefore, What have I here, says the LORD, that My people are taken away for nothing ?    They that rule over them make them to howl, says the LORD; and My Name continually every day ... is blasphemed.

Therefore, My people shall know My name:  therefore, shall they know in that day that I am  He that does speak:  behold,  it is I."

- Isaiah 52:1-6

("I Am" ... Exodus 3:13,14)

No matter how wonderful we think any of these scriptures are, until we know the meaning of God's Name, we will never know this Christ anointing.

God represents Himself as a present God  ... who speaks.

Not a "belief system", not the practice of a life-style, not adherence to a Book,  or belonging to a particular religion:  but rather, relationship to His present Spirit Word.

"It is I,  who speaks"

In "all" cases of prophetic voice the message is to hear, and return to relationship.  (present tense)

Legalism does not promote this idea.    It says that God "has spoken":  and now we have a Book (that's God's Word), and we must try to live accordingly.

Muslims, Christians, and Jews, are all guilty of this, and they fight to promote their ideas, and build their organizations.

They fight because they are not open to hear.  They have a source, but it's not a Spiritual source.  It's different.   They can't learn, because they already know.     (how lost)

Anything of value from any man or woman of God in history was that they heard the Spirit Word of God, and expressed it.

They were a  "light".  (read: St. John chs.1,3,  Revelation 19:10)

To advocate that the Spirit of God is not the present Word and light in our generation goes against everything that the Christ anointing  "is".

When we understand this, we are sensitive to "let His Word come forth" and be "expressed" from the Body of Christ; rather than to fight the forceful promotion of legalism.

Most of our churches look like a courtroom:  and most of our courtrooms look like a church.   Even the proceedings are similar, and someone will eventually be judged from the man at the front.  (because, he knows "the book")

When you see through this  "tradition of man" into the realm of the Christ,  ... you will want to hear what the Spirit has to say.  You will want to see His body of believers have the freedom to function as the Spirit directs.

You will want the manifestation of what He has to say, today.  For there is a fellowship that the children of God have as they walk in the light.   And out from this light comes a Kingdom that is formed, that has its connection to the eternal Glory of the Father.

Salvation

This is the breaking point of the darkness.    It's the day "light" of salvation.

There is a level of curse and anguish that mankind exists in, as the darkness covers the earth:  but as the Spirit of God hovers, there is a "Word of light" that is to be heard.  This Word overcomes the anxiety of the darkness,  and brings the realization of salvation, and fellowship.

It's the Christ anointing, the presence of Spirit Word,   the light that lights every man.    (St. John ch.1)

All other effort, and attempt at radical change,  is without deliverance,  and  is a part of the dark confusion.

Salvation is nearer than you think:  but we must learn to recognize the Spirit Word of God apart from religion, form, and opinion.

The real ministry hits the target, and sets us free for a future.  It's the grace of salvation.

Much of man's religion (church work)  functions within the world of  anxiety,  with so much on their mind that they cannot hear the ministry that the Spirit of God offers.

Do we not wonder why Jesus was so zealous for the house of prayer ...  as he drove out the carnality that had found its roots in the temple ?   (St. Luke 19:41-48)

Can we grasp what he meant when he said to his disciples,

"Tarry ... in the city of Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high"

- St. Luke 24:49

"For you shall receive power,  after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:     and  you  shall be  witnesses unto me,  unto the  uttermost  part  of  the earth"

- Acts 1:8

Or, what do you think Paul, the early apostle, meant when he instructed the young minister,    ...

"This know also, ... that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous,  boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to  parents,  unthankful,  unholy, ... lovers of pleasures more  than  lovers of God;    having  a  "form" of godliness, but denying the power thereof:  from  such  ... turn away.

They are ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge  of  the  truth."

- 2 Timothy 3:1-7 (part)

In Our Generation

Chapter Six

      What Can I Do ?

Provide a place where people can come and pray, and  experience   the  present  Spirit word  ministry,  visions, healing,  deliverance,  and  teaching.   "House of prayer",  I think  Jesus  called  it.   (St. Luke 19:46)           That's  all !

(and then)

God's Spirit will birth ministries to the Body. No carnal hype. Just let goodness flow out of love and Spirit ... Grace and Truth.  (St. John 1:12-14,16,17, Ephesians ch.4)

Synthetic Religion

- songs
- sermons
- Bible Studies
- Community Outreaches for Converts

If we don't stop ... to hear what the Spirit  is trying to say,  we have  missed  the  whole point.    (Revelation chs.2 ,3)

We need to learn to be comfortable with stillness, and respect, before God; and recognize that He is God, and that His intention is the only intention of  value.

Then, there will be songs, teachings, prophecy, ministry, etc., ... and the body of Christ will grow up into a Spiritual habitation,  ... rather than an empty shell of "form".   (Ephesians 2:18-22)

The Fellowship Meeting

The wafting of gentle realizations.  The intent, and character of God, is  "presence".   It's not about a word ... to educate. It's about an abiding relationship.

It's possible to have a church meeting, and our hearts are not in a place to receive grace, and truth. (A good example of this   is found in  Revelation chs.2,and 3;    also,  Joel ch.2)

Grace and truth, ... are what  (Spirit) "relationship"  is built upon;  whereas,  the  teachings  of  dogma ... are what "legalism", and emptiness, is built upon.  (think on this)

A cloud of advertising is on its way from the heavenly realm for the people of God.

How we take, and hold, this Word is important.     Stewardship is important.  This grace is the habitual practice of  "being".

Sin no more.   Let these advertisements take hold;  as in  the stories that Jesus told about the Sower, or the man who built  his house upon a rock.

We need to handle this Word with patience, and find ourselves forbearing one another in love, as we build the expression of God's Kingdom.

In most of our situations, we never learned to  "hear" the Spirit of the Lord properly.  There has been too much dogma, report, testimony, opinion, announcements, and activity.

(what a frenzy)

It's Time to Change

"Bless our minds with the waftings of gentle realizations: the advertisements of the Kingdom.

Recognizing who you are.  Accepting who you are.  Respecting who you are.     Letting yourself be nurtured.

Recognizing others. Glorifying God.     The richness of His glory. The goodness of His  love.

Being righteous.   Being found; rather than, being lost.  Saying thank you.        Assuming the New Day principles.

Walk in the love of God.  Do the best that you can. Be everything that obedient faith allows you to  be."

"And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;  and some,  pastors  and  teachers;  for  the perfecting of the saints,  for  the  work of the ministry,  for  the edifying of the body of Christ:  till we all  come in the unity of the faith, and of the  knowledge of  the  Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature  of the fullness of Christ:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine,  by the sleight of men,  and  cunning craftiness,  whereby  they lie in wait to deceive;

But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:  from whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love" (.)

- Ephesians 4:11-16

The Struggle, and Stabilization

We are "stable" as we hear the Spirit of Truth.  If we were to open ourselves just to hear everyone's opinion, we would go crazy.  Instead of a strong personal identity coming forth, we would lose.   (these are the danger areas of discipleship and cults)

As we learn to recognize the voice of God's Spirit, we will also recognize Him speaking to us from other sources.

The human was created to hear God. They are like a receiver; a sounding board.  For us not to recognize this puts us into a position where we cheat ourselves out of much of God's working grace.

We should all have a group around us who are "receiving from God"; and who minister to one another with love, and concern.

There is man's "religious form":  and then, there is the "body of Christ", which is born of the Spirit: ... that of eternal manifestation.

My Message

My message is directed to intent, rather than "intellect".

Appealing to intellect appeals to the pride of enlightenment.

Appealing to intent, appeals to purpose, repentance, and identity:  the "issues" of the Gospel.

For example, let's look at the messages of Jesus:

(1)  "come, follow me"
(2)  "take up your cross"
(3)  "go, and sin no more"
(4)  "so, is he that ..."

The presentation is different.   A presentation that is meant to "inform" puts a gathering in a classroom setting.

A presentation to "intent" is more workshop orientated, and more interactive.  Gifts, and callings are more respected.

My motivation is more based upon the activity of expression, than the possession of knowledge.  One submits to the Spirit of God, while the other reasons.

There is the temptation for the church to "inform", ... and then, plan "carnal" activity; shutting out the "Spirit intent" experience.

Information, is not what we are pursuing.  Relationship with Spirit intent is what we are pursuing, ... and doing, and being.

Knowledge "puffs up" (pride); ... whereas, the Spirit makes alive.  (eg. Nicodemus  St. John 3:7,8,  and  1 Corinthians ch.8)

Because what we are talking about is new life, I would say to you that we  ...  encounter "faith"  in the "intent" realm.

We encounter the "Holy Ghost" in the "intent" realm.  We will encounter miracles in the "intent" realm.

Repentance, grace, conversion, gifts, callings, reward, and blessing, function in the intent realm.  To work wonders, and miracles, is just basically an "unfolding of God's intent".

(Have you ever wondered why Jesus spoke in parables ?)

When you follow the path of "Spirit intent" you will become extremely wise, because God's Spirit is extremely wise.

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom"

- Proverbs ch.8, and  9:10

On your bed, you can sing aloud for He is near you.   (Psalms 42:8)

On the battlefield He will crowd you over and protect you like a hen  ... watching over her nest.

He will be with you in the morning:  with you in the evening: with you all the daylong.  Come close.   See, and believe.

___

Our fluid mind has no stability of its own.  When one loses their sense of reason, we say that they are mentally ill.

For the most part our reasoning is developed by our surroundings, and we become like what we are taught to become.

Reasoning is not necessarily truth, nor wisdom.    It can be full of fear, and lies.

What we are talking about is an introduction, and relationship, to the Spirit of truth.  He is your God.    He is not a Book, nor a temple, nor a religion.

One can have all of this; but without an introduction to hearing the Spirit of truth, one is operating in darkness.

This Spirit of truth is the grace that sustains stability.      (see: Isaiah 61:5-9)

Real Faith

Faith is "co-operating with the Spirit of God".  It has a different source.

Rather than carnal reasoning, the foundation is Spirit realization.    The source of our "faith" is Spirit,  ...  not letter.   (2 Corinthians 3:3,6,  Romans 2:29, and  7:6)

We need to be careful  ... to nurture  people  Spiritually,  "where they're at"; and not move them away from Spirituality into the realm  of opinion.

As we respect God, we will respect God's  "creation".

These are not "converts" that are forming a new opinion, but rather they are people who are being  reconciled  to God.

They are being "born again" by the Spirit of God; resulting in Spiritually motivated  beings.

In Fellowship

Chapter Seven

This Chapter is written heavy, and to the point, but will serve as a useful and "straightforward" outline for fellowship groups ...

Hearing the Ministry of Others

We have to accept the idea of socializing.  We have to "respect" our neighbor.

We need to "expect" by faith, that God accepts socializing, and uses socializing for His own intents, and purposes.

Most purposes, whether inventions, or ideas, will never reach their full expression with humanity  ... without the socializing aspect.

Being sensitive ... as you walk through life, will feed you, and lead you to full expression.  You will be refined through interaction.  (St. John ch.15)

The more sensitive we are to the Holy Spirit, the more we can hear, and realize;  even when others are not aware that God is speaking  through them.

People are Spiritual receivers: most of them just don't know it.

"Hearing"    ...  is found in hospitality.

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:  if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him,  and will sup with him,  and  he with me.

To him that overcomes, will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His throne.

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches."

- Revelation 3:20-22

Most people are "on an agenda".   They are not sensitive to the Spiritual ministry from other folk: and maybe, don't even care if the other person   ...  has a Spiritual calling.

We need to remember that the Kingdom of God is not "wrath" unto  the  children of men.      (St. John chs.1,3)

Being  "Picky, and Choosy"

Being picky and choosy about where the "Word" of God's Spirit comes from ... is a mind-set that we all to often fall into.

For legalistic people, ... it will only be acceptable from the perfect. (which contradicts the Gospel)

For the proud, ... it is burdensome, and discouraging. For angry, hurt, people  ...  it doesn't come.

For people of a desolate soul,  ... it comes from everywhere.

___

Paul the apostle said,

"my speech, and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, ... but in demonstration of the Spirit, and of power:  that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men,  but in the power of God".

-1 Corinthians 2:4,5

The apostle Peter wrote,

"as every man has received the gift, even so, minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God;  if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives:  that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ  ..."

- 1 Peter 4:10,11

The apostle John wrote,

"if we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  but if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with  another ..."

- 1 John 1:6,7

Religious people just point to their laws and traditions.  They don't respect the presence of the voice of the Spirit in one another.

Scriptures have been understood to be the "Word of God";   but they should be recognized as a record of the dealings of God with humanity. (in part only)   They are not "the Word of God".

God's Spirit of truth will defy your religion; for the heart of the redeeming gospel  ... is to reconcile individuals unto Himself.

If you walk in the light, and not religious opinion,  ... you will recognize the light, and the ministry, which He is seeking to grace you with.  That's called "fellowship" in the body of Christ.

(see: Acts 2:16-18, 1 Corinthians ch.12, Ephesians ch.4)

Carnal religious leaders will promote legalism (adhering to a book, or system)  instead of Spirituality every time,   because legalism is the only way that the fallen nature knows how to unite a group of people who don't know the Spirit of God.  (Genesis ch.3)

If we are sensitive to the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives we will recognize His approach,  and character.

Reconciliation

As we have said earlier, "reconciliation" is a relationship word, which simply means to re-establish cordial relations, or to get two things to correspond.

Back in an earlier section, we spoke of the importance of us, first of all, being reconciled to the Father through our relationship with the Spirit of God.

"Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."

- St. John 3:3

But, as we are reconciled to the Father we are planted into His family, and Kingdom purposes.  (our own independent ambitions are left behind)   We now need to know, and experience, the workings of reconciliation amongst His people.

The same Spirit, and Word, that teaches us of the Father ... will also teach us about one another.  This is the purification of our fellowship in His Spiritual habitation.

*(Ephesians 2:12-22, ch.4, 1 Corinthians 11:27-33, chs.12,13,14)

Having said this, don't be deceived into thinking that every nice group of people is His Spiritual habitation.  Some are just plain religious, and lost.

"What is born of the flesh, is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit, is spirit"

- St. John 3:6,20,21

*For a better understanding of how to recognize the group that we are talking about, ... read the above Scriptures.

Just going to church will not replace this experience; and one must look carefully to the reconciliation with the Father,  and His Kingdom.

If you can't immediately find that group of believers, know this, that God loves you, and does see His purposes in your life, and for your surroundings.

If you feel that the Spirit of the LORD is calling you:  ... this place that you are at ... may be the place that God wants to establish the very thing that you have read about.    But, please be sure:  because now, you are to be reconciled to Him.  (at one with Him)

As you have seen, in the scriptures about a Spiritual habitation, there is an importance to the developing of your Spiritual ministry, and the ministries of others; that God's glory and purposes might be fulfilled.  (this is the "reconciliation"  that we are talking about)

There is more than just one spiritual person in a "Spiritual habitation";  and these gifts, and ministries, will flow ... for the "building up" of one another, so that we might grow  "in Him".

___

Jesus told a story about a Father that had two sons.  One son lacked the Father's vision; and one lacked the Father's grace.   (St. Luke ch.15)

As we are accepted of the Father, and in His habitation, His love will restore both truth (vision) and grace to our souls, so that we might be His light in this world.    (St. John 1:17)

Reconciliation to the Father.

Reconciliation in fellowship.

It's not about being self-centered:  it's about the Kingdom.   It's not about being group-centered: it's about the Kingdom of the Father.

It's not about "me", "me", and "my":  but, having gone through the cross, we now seek the Kingdom, the flow of Spiritual ministry, and understanding.

Chapter eight

Prophetic Word

Chapter Eight

Pleasantness - is the real  power that  "excites"  agreeable sensations,   ...  or  emotions

Pleasantness has to do with challenge,  growth, fruitfulness, balance,   moderation,  excitement,  inheritance,  boldness, expressing God's character and intent,  miracles, and many other surprising   ... "experiences" of our lives.

When we see how the early church received the Word with gladness (Acts ch.2), and continued in fellowship with one another,   ...  we do catch a glimpse of  somewhat of a  ... pleasant picture.

Although we have made  "the point" that to experience the life of God's intention one must repent and consider the rebellious "carnal agenda" to be  dead and  over with,  we  still  have not spent  very much time  talking about  how God  does cause  His  blessing  ...  to be  upon His people.

For the most part, God's Spirit is very pleasant, and good.  It's our own fears, and misgivings, and the struggle with the situations around us that cause turmoil, and strife.

Also, because there is an unseen spiritual force that wars against the creation of God,   ... there is an added struggle.

This is the time to discuss the blessings of God as we abide in the strength of His pleasantness;   and  relate to our lives in fellowship with one another.

Pleasantness begins with our Spiritual relationship, and then works out to expression of that relationship toward others.

"Yet the Lord will command His loving kindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me,  ...  my prayer unto the God of my life."

- Psalms 42:8

We need the Word of the Lord to flow through our souls.   In Acts chapter two, ... they gladly received the Word.

___

"Let  it  heal  us.

Let ... the Glory of the Lord ... be  "Revealed".

His Word is near you,    ...  even on your lips.

Sing, and dance, for joy.   Let it equip you.

Come forth O childless one, and bear fruit.  You adulteress one,  Return  to the Lord."

___

"You are fairer than the children of men:  grace is poured into your lips:   ... therefore God has blessed you forever."

Lord, Teach Us To Pray ... (a Prohecy Feb./04)

"Pleasantness settles a situation for "ministry", and healing, ...  in   some situations.

Anger     ...   brings  "defense".

The ear of the listener    ...  is  "wooed"  by  pleasantness.

The "goodness" of God  "leads"    ...  (see also Romans 2:4)

An intercessor ministers to those who are groveling already. They have a  "realization"   ...  of their need.    God wants to meet the needs of His Creation.

The mildness of "injecting" truth into a situation   ... has an endearing effect.

The gentleness of the Father  ... leads the sheep.

"I am the  Good Shepherd".   (Psalms 23, St.  John 10:11,14)

Gentleness     ...    "Instills"  faith.

The needy are weak,   ...   but the strong say,  "I am".

Instill  "truth" into the needy,   and  the weak.  (St. John 1:17)

Lord,  ...  teach us Your ways.      Carnality has made us tough, and tormenting, to others.

We are not flowing in the  "reconciling Spirit"  of the One who  loves us,    ...  and  gave  Himself  for us.

Teach us to pray.    Teach us ... to listen.    You  are the Way.

Have a Great Day    ... of Power,  ... and Majesty.

This truth  is "ineffectual"  unless  one puts it into the "learning process".

Lead ... the way.    Be victorious in "your day".

The "Right"   ...    is on the "rise".

The "spoon fed" ... are hungry.     Their bowels are "gasping" for the joy of it;     ...   life is on the line.

Your pleas are wicked, and perverse,  ...        but,   Mine are "Sunshiny    ...   on the way".

Fear gripped hold upon them, and they said, "I'll never do it".    But I said,  "I Can".   Faith can move mountains.

The joy of attainment is in your brow.    Your teeth  are shut.

Joy is on your way, and  "pleasantness" avows to Greatness.

There is a mix-match  of Heaven and Hell  in one soul,  and we have the choice   ...  "which one to live in."

Gladness is on the way   ...  uphold the  "dream  of salvation".

I am touched by Your grace Divine.   I am rudely healed by your arm of Strength.

Wishfulness needn't be.     So, alone ... I will always need You.    Breathe in me.  ... Breathe in me.

Let my desires ... be Yours. Let "pleasantness" unfurl its flag; and rage in my passions "like a dove".

Love lifted me.  O, Love lifted me ... to passions beyond.    O, Sweet Spirit, Come   ... and be Strong.

My heart swells with pride.    Pride ... of an anxious blight.       My soul sees in You ... the  Majesty of Light.

Come Holy Spirit ... I need You.
Come Holy Spirit   ...I pray.
Come Holy Spirit  ... I need You.
Come in Your own ...special way.

Slow down.     I am near.    I will whisper sweet adulation in your ear.

I come from afar ... but, I will not be late. Heaven's rosary is smiling at the Gate.

Peacefulness indwells me, sullenness, and joy.

This is my Savior, ... My own Special Boy. He is now nodding, he is embracing His toy. The Holy Ghost forever,  the "Lasting of Joy".

My Holy Spirit is My life that abides within.   He has sanctified me, and made me whole.     I love Him    ...   with all  my soul.

Hear me,  ... O Great God, feed me   from  "Your lips".

The Ministry

Chapter Nine

Ministry of Jesus  - St. Matthew ch.3,4,5

The desire to fulfill God's righteousness was evident as Jesus approached John the Baptizer.

The prophetic word was present, and expectancy was in the message.

Jesus knew.    John knew.  And many were believing.

"And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water:  and the heavens were opened unto him, ... and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

And a voice from heaven, saying,  This  is My beloved Son,  in whom I am well pleased."

- St. Matthew 3:16,17

Then immediately, Jesus was led to the wilderness to struggle with his  "identity".      (St. Matthew 4:1-10)

He had been "prophesied" over.  People knew who he was to "be".   Now, he would be taken from "promise" ... to  "being".

Once again, (as with Eve in the Garden of Eden),  ... Satan attempted to change, and pervert, ... who Jesus was meant to "be".    Would the  Word be "fulfilled" ?

I think it's significant that it is mentioned that the angels came and ministered to him. (vs. 11)

When we are born again by the Spirit of God,  and called  to preach about "the  Kingdom of God",  it makes sense that one would  experience  this realm.

In verse 12 to 16, we see the nature of the "expressed Word"   ...  as Jesus takes this Message of God to those in darkness.   He will "be" where he is needed,  that the Word  ... might be  "fulfilled";

"The people which sat in darkness saw great Light."

Then in verse 17,  ... we become aware of ...  his "Message".

"Repent"   ... and   ...  "Kingdom of Heaven"

Immediately (vs. 18-22), we find him calling apostles.  He is bringing Isaiah ch.61   ... to  "expression".   (fulfilling)

He knows who he is,  ... the Spirit of the LORD  is upon him.

He went about teaching in the synagogues, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, healing all types of diseases, and casting out devils. (vs. 23)

(see also: St. Luke 4:17-21)

he is getting ready for St. Matthew ch.5 ...

St. Matthew ch.5 shows Jesus not only "being" Word expressed,  but he is also bringing others into "being" the light.   He is "living" the message of Isaiah ch. 61.

Looking back, in St. Matthew 4:23, the writer says ... that Jesus went about healing people, and casting out demons.

     Healing ?    Here's why ...

- expression of faith
- application of  "Message"
- application of reconciliation
- application of creation power
- application of (live) Word

Casting out demons
?   Here's why ...

- application of "Stewardship"
- application of Kingdom dominion
- exercise of "faith", and obedience
- believing the message

(now in  St. Matthew ch.5)

* Jesus said,  ...  Let your "Light Shine" (St. Matthew 5:13-17)

We need to ask ourselves, "Are we being the Light that Jesus talked about ?"

(are we on the same page?)

When Jesus sent out twelve of his disciples to preach ...  he said to them,

"The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few.     Pray to the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into his harvest.

And when he called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

And as you go, preach saying, ... the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils:  ... freely you have received, freely give."

- St. Matthew 9:37, 38 and ch.10:1-8

____

"Now when John (the baptist) had heard about the works of Christ,  ... he sent two of his disciples, to ask him,  Are you he that should come, or do we look for another ? "

Jesus answered them, Go and show John again those things which you hear and see:

The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed,  and  the deaf hear, the dead are raised up,  the poor have the gospel preached unto them."

"There has not risen a greater than  John the Baptist: notwithstanding, ... he that is least in the Kingdom of Heaven  is greater than he."

- St. Matthew 11:2-5,11

As I ponder this Christ ministry, the Holy Spirit speaks to me to remind me in a  "matter of fact" way that:

"Man is created in ... the Image of God."

 Then He said,

"First of all,  ... you don't love Mankind, ... you love Christians.

God loves Mankind. They are created in His Image.         They are connected.

You are going to have a problem with this one.

You don't know how to be graceful Stewards of God ... to these people of Christ's Kingdom.   (His Kingdom is made up of humanity)

There is so much anguish in My soul over this.

You ... can't feel the heart-throb of the Spirit   ...  the Image of God."

____

To better understand the ministry of Jesus, as He moved about amongst the people,  ... one needs to read, and contemplate to the fullest extent,  Isaiah chapter 61.

There are also many other references in the prophecy of Isaiah that relate to the  "Christ ministry", ... and in depth we do see, and look forward to,  the fulfillment. (see also:  Isaiah ch.35)

Righteous Light

Chapter Ten

The Promise of Righteous Light

Although our sensitized carnal nature might cringe at the thought of righteousness, and see it as boring, dull, or a waste of time, we need to realize that we have been  misinformed.

Man's attempt at righteousness is probably boring, but God's idea of righteousness   ...  is  "blessing".

As we read Isaiah 61:1-3, we see the ministry of God's Spirit to a desolated,  suffering,  people   ...

"That they might be called trees of Righteousness, the planting of the LORD,  ... that He might be glorified"

In verses 4 to 9 we are told of God's "blessing" upon the people,  and then,  immediately following,  in verse 10,

"... He has covered me with a robe of Righteousness,  (as with ornaments, and jewels) "

... right here,  in the earth,

"... as the garden causes the things that are to spring forth;    ... so the LORD will cause Righteousness, and praise, to spring forth before all nations."

In Isaiah ch.62, ... prophetic reference is made to the "Christ ministry", and the Bride of Christ (church), and of course,      ...   "Righteous Blessing".

"I will not rest until the righteousness go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof, as a lamp that burns.

And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness and all Kings your glory:  and you shall be called by a new Name,  which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land be termed Desolate,   ... for the LORD delights in you."

- Isaiah 62:1-5

This prophecy is referring to the new birth experience, the beginning of the blessing of righteousness, ... the Great Light to the world.

____

Righteousness has to do with balance, moderation, growth, patience,  ... and just being the beneficiary of "letting God"      ... bring forth His Majesty.

It's not at all the "dull" term of a Holy Separatist.

I am going to tell you something about Righteousness that may surprise you.

Righteousness, is not about  "doing" good things, or living a particular "lifestyle".

Righteousness is that "hovering Spirit of God", that you read about in Genesis 1:2,3.

"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness  ... was upon the face of the deep.

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.   And God said, "Let there be Light": and there was Light."

- Genesis 1:2,3

 ... now compare  Isaiah 60:1-5

"Arise, shine, for thy Light is come, ... and the Glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people:  but, the Lord shall arise upon you,  ... and His Glory shall be seen  ... "upon you".

And the Gentiles shall come to your Light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you:  your sons shall come from far,  ... and your daughters  ...  shall be nursed at your side.

Then you shall see, and flow together, and your heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto you, the forces of the Gentiles shall come to you."

- Isaiah 60:1-5

Recognizing Righteousness

Because of carnality, and conditioning, that we experience,  ... it is very possible that we are in the midst of experiencing God's righteousness, and we don't recognize it, or maybe  ...  would rather not.

"He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

- St. John 1:10,14

"For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;  but  that the world through Him might be saved.

And this is the condemnation, ... that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness  rather than Light,   ... because their deeds were evil."

- St. John 3:17,19

Much of the confusion about what righteousness is comes from well intending religion. They become an enemy of "light" ... simply because they don't practice presence,  ... nor do they submit to it.   They would rather "do" things with their friends, and other church members.

Doing, ... sometimes becomes more important than "being"; and is more controllable, praiseworthy, and convenient. (and  carnal,  ...  it's called  "sin")

No matter what is going on around us, our lives are not our own any more.

This is where we stop and recognize that when we turned to God, our ideas are not the issue anymore.

When we learn to recognize Him in our "personal" times, then the Holy Spirit will help us to trust, and see other things that He is expressing around us;  and He may, or may not, include us in the "activity."

Recognizing light should bring forth thankfulness, faith, confidence, and praise.   (See Isaiah 61:10,11)

I think the point that we are trying to make clear here  ... is that we should be very careful to not get caught up in religious tradition,  but rather ... to "be" reflecting the presence,  and light of our Father.  (daily)

Listen to the contrast of God's intention, as He gives Isaiah a prophetic message for the people of Israel.

"And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and My elect shall inherit it, and My servants shall dwell there.

And  Shar'on shall be a fold of flocks,  and the valley of A'chor a place for the herds to lie down in,    ... for My people  that have sought Me.

But you are they that forsake the LORD, ... that forget My Holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish a drink offering unto that number.

Therefore, I will number you to the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter:   ... because   ...  when I called, you did not answer, when I spoke, you did not hear;    but  did evil before My eyes,  and did  choose "that" wherein I delighted not."

- Isaiah 65: 9-12

As we move through our life,  each day we will be challenged to take on things that God is not asking us to get involved with.    As good stewards of light, we need to stay with the Spirit of God,  and stay free to follow His desires.

Here's some interesting Scriptures to help you to live the "New Life";  and to  recognize the character of  God's true  righteousness.

Your Destiny

Chapter Eleven

Destiny

Destiny is a gift of God.  It's that "Light" that you live in "confidently". It's a "Blessing".  It's your priority. (or at least, should be)

It's your Blessing.    It's your Life.     Have faith in God.

As you live out your destiny, the fruit of it will become yours.  Satisfy yourself in it.    It will be  "health" to you.

____

Carnal teachers have misinformed us.  Chasing wrong ambitions,   ...  have "confused" us.

We feel guilty, ... and we don't know why.    We are stressed,  ... and it amazes us.

We are "hurried" ... to live other people's lives.

 ... Don't do it !

The Doctrine of Sovereignty

I have heard it said, "That God will do exactly what He wants to do ... because He is sovereign."

Scripture has been quoted erroneously to support this "wayward" belief; and folks have been lured away from the character of the Word,   ...  creativity,  stewardship,  and  faith.

This doctrine, (like the "doctrine of substitution"), undermines the progress of the Kingdom of God, and serves to de-characterize  stewardship.

Do we believe that God is "supreme", and all powerful ?   Yes.    Do we believe that God  "sees", and  "knows all" ?   Yes.

The difference is, ... that we believe in the "creative", and  "perpetual" character of Word; and we believe in faith, stewardship, and righteousness.

If the Sovereignty of God means ... that all is foreordained, then "all acts" ... are acts of righteousness.

This, in turn, would raise issues pertaining to Heaven, Hell, Judgment, the credibility of Christ, the nations, the many prophets,   ... and  the Gospel.

____

(So, ... what do we believe ? )

Forming "Your" Destiny

1.  God Speaks.

Throughout history, God has spoken, and man has either obeyed, or disobeyed. This is the separation of righteousness, and unrighteousness.   Stewardship, or not.    Carnality, or Spirituality.

2.  God  "fulfills" His Word.

(through His faithful people)

Jesus was very sensitive to the stewardship of fulfilling God's Word.   This is Righteousness.
(St. Matthew 4:12-17, and ch.5)

3.  The  "Judgment".

There will come a day, (and now is), when you will be held accountable ... as a person.

4.  God  ... does what He will ?   (they say)

Well, we do know this, ... that He's "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance". (2 Peter chs.1,2,3)

"Hear",  ... and "obey".  (Revelation 2,3, Hebrews 10:6-9)    Do the will of the Father.

____

"Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields;  for they are white already to harvest."

For the hour comes, and now is, ... when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in Spirit, and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him.

God is a Spirit:  and they that worship Him ... must worship Him in Spirit,  ... and in truth."

- St. John 4:35,23,24

"The Word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is the Word of faith, which we preach."   (rhe'ma word, ... the prophetic flow)

- Romans 10:8

"Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith.    Be not high-minded, but fear.  For, if God spared not the natural branches, take heed  ... lest He spare not you.

Behold, the goodness, and severity,  ... of God.

On them which fell, severity;  ... but toward you goodness, ...if you continue in His goodness:  otherwise you also shall be cut off.

And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again."

- Romans 11:20-23

"For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;  but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believes on him is not condemned:  but he that believes not     ... is condemned already,  because he has not believed in the name  of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than Light,  ... because their deeds were evil.

For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

But he that does truth ... comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."

- St. John 3:17-21

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but that the world through Him might be saved."

- St. John 3:16

____

The question, that is pertinent to man, is not whether or not God is "all powerful",  but rather, are we "fulfilling" His Word,  (Kingdom Command), in each of our lives.

Not religion (Hebrews 10:7-9),  but rather "relationship", as we find in Acts 1:8,  St. John 14:26,27, and  Jeremiah 2:17.

____

The Fast of  "Mediocrity"
(Prophecy April/04)

" ...  it's a "displaced" motion.     It peeps like the wind,    ...   it's empty.

Braces are they to My knees ... that they might hold Me up to do something.

The weakness of breath is in it, that I should undo the wrongs of their right.

I make Myself a miser to you.     I blow you like chaff.

Nothingness  ...

My forehead is full of the lines of gentleness.   Are you weighed in the measure ?       I judge  not.

Hold fast to the profession of your faith ... lest I snatch you up ... like a rabbit from the snare.

Close encounters comfort Me,    ...   I will  be there  when you need Me.

     ...  radio music  ...

Your music  is drowning  Me  out.    There is "despair" in it.    Your attention   ...  is  "limited"    ... ."

The Summary

"Trust in the LORD with all  your heart;   and  lean not  unto  your own  understanding.

In all your ways  acknowledge  Him,   and  He shall direct  your paths.

Be not wise in your own eyes:   fear  the LORD,  and  depart  from evil.

It shall be health  to your navel,   and  marrow to your  bones.

Honor the LORD with your  substance,  and  with the  first fruits  of all  your  increase.    So shall your barns be filled with plenty,  and your presses  shall  burst out with  new wine.

Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding.     She is more precious than rubies:  and all the things that you can desire are not to be compared to her."

God's New Society

Chapter Twelve

We give thanks to God that out of all of the realities in existence He has chosen the "reality" of man, and has honored it with intellect and wisdom, the two most luminous lights in either world.

Through the power of this great enlightenment He has in every era cast on the mirror of Creation new and wonderful demonstrations.

If we look objectively upon the world of "being", it will become apparent that from age to age man's existence has continually been embellished with a fresh grace, and distinguished with an ever-varying splendor that comes from wisdom ... and the power of Spiritual thought.

This supreme show of God stands first in the order of Creation, and first in rank, taking precedence over all created things.       Witness to it is the Holy tradition   ...

"Before all else,  God created the mind, and the vision."

From the dawn of Creation it was made to be revealed in each generation of man.

Holy is the Lord, Who with the dazzling rays of this strange heavenly power has made our world of darkness the envy of the worlds of light:

"And the earth shall shine  ... with the light of the Lord."

Holy and exalted is He, Who has caused the nature of man to be the revelation  of this boundless grace.

O you that have minds to know!  Raise up your "created" hands to the heaven of the one God, and humble yourselves, and be lowly before Him, and thank Him for this supreme endowment; and implore Him to save us until, in this present age, godlike impulses may radiate from the conscience of mankind;   that this divinely kindled fire which has been entrusted to the human heart may never die,  or ...  become obscure.

Consider carefully:  all these varied phenomena, these concepts, this idea, these technical developments and philosophical systems,  these sciences,  arts, industries, and inventions:   ... all are emanations of the human mind.

Whatever person has ventured deeper into this ocean ... has come to excel all the rest.  The happiness and pride of a generation consists in this, that it should shine out like the sun  ... in the high heaven of  knowledge and ability.

Purpose of Man

"Shall they who have light, and they who have it not, be treated alike?"

The honor and distinction of the individual consists in this, that he among all the world's crowds ... should become a source of "light".

Is there any larger reward than this, that an individual, looking within himself, should find that by the confirming grace of God he has become the cause of peace and well-being; of happiness and advantage to the people of his generation ?

No, by God's name, there is no greater purpose, no greater delight.

How long will we drift on the wings of ambition and vain desire;  how long shall we spend our days like the "lost"  in the depths of darkness and disillusion ?

God has given us eyes that we may look about us at the world, and lay hold of whatsoever He will.

He has given us ears, that we may hear and learn by the wisdom of teachers, and prophets; and the strength to arise to promote and  practice  expression.

Senses and abilities have been bestowed upon us to be devoted to the service of the Kingdom of God; so that we, distinguished above all other forms of life for perceptiveness and reason, should labor at all times, whether the occasion be great or small, ordinary or extraordinary, until all mankind are safely gathered into this Kingdom of "light".

____

We should continually be establishing new bases for human happiness; and creating, and promoting, new instrumentalities toward this end.

How excellent, and how honorable is a man if he arises to fulfill his responsibilities;  and  how wretched and contemptible if he shuts his eyes to the welfare of society, and wastes his precious life in pursuing his own selfish interests,  and  personal advantages.

Supreme happiness is man's if he beholds the signs of God in this world,  and in the human soul.       And this would be man's utmost failure,   ...  if he should live  inactive,  apathetic,  dull,    ...  involved only with his own base appetites.

When he is like this, he lives his life in the deepest ignorance and darkness, sinking lower than the animals around him.

We must now highly resolve to rise and lay hold of all those instruments that promote the peace and well-being and happiness,  ... the knowledge, culture and industry, the dignity, value and fulfillment,  ...  of the entire human race.

A man should pause,  and reflect,  and  be just.

Of what value are they to a society ...  who have never tasted the heavenly food of "truly human" qualities, and never drunk of the "life-giving" waters of those blessings which belong to the realm of man ?

"Are they equal, those who know, and those who do not know ?

Or, is  ... darkness  equal  with  the light ?"

The spiritually learned are lamps of guidance among the nations, and stars of good fortune   ...  shining from the horizons of humankind.

They are "fountains of life" for those that lie in the death of ignorance and unawareness; ... and  clear "springs of perfections"  for those who thirst and wander  in  the wasteland of their defects  ...  and errors.

They are the "dawning places" of the emblems of Divine unity,  and initiates in the mysteries of  the glorious "Word".

They are skilled physicians for the ailing body of the world;  and they are the sure antidote  to the poison  ... that has corrupted human society.

It is they who are the strong citadel guarding humanity, and the impregnable sanctuary for the sorely distressed; those anxious and tormented  ... victims of ignorance.

Grow

The spiritually learned must be characterized by both inward and outward  grace.

They must possess a good character, an enlightened nature, a pure intent, ... as well as intellectual power, brilliance and discernment, intuition, discretion and foresight, temperance, reverence,  and  a heartfelt fear of God.

For a candle that is not "lighted", no matter how great in size, and tall, is no better than a barren fruit tree,    ...  or a pile of dead wood.

"As for him who is one of the learned:  he must guard himself,  and defend his faith,  oppose his passions,  and  obey  the  directions of his Lord.

It is then, the duty of all the people  ... to learn as well."

The first of these growth requirements  ... is  to guard one's own self.

It is obvious that this does not refer to protecting oneself from calamities and material tests, for the Prophets and saints were, each and every one, subjected to the bitterest afflictions that the world had to offer, and were targets for all the cruelties and aggressions of mankind.

They sacrificed their lives for the welfare of the people, and with all their hearts they hastened to the place of their service, and martyrdom;   and with their inward and outward perfections they arrayed humanity in new garments of excellent qualities,    ...  both acquired,  ... and inborn.

The primary meaning of this "guarding of oneself" is to acquire the attributes of spiritual,  and  temporal,   perfection.

The second attribute of growth is justice and impartiality.   (defend "faith")

This means to have no regard for one's own personal benefits and selfish advantages;  ... and to carry out the light of God without the slightest concern for anything else.

It means to see one's self as only one of the servants of God, the All-Possessing, and except for aspiring to spiritual distinction, never attempting to be singled out from the others.

It means to consider the welfare of the community as one's own.

It means, in brief, to regard humanity as a single individual, and one's own self as a member of that corporeal form,   and to know of a certainty that if pain or injury afflicts any member of that body, it must inevitably result in suffering for all the rest.

The third requirement of growth is to arise  to educate the masses,   and help to clarify their vision.     For the mass of the population  ... is uninformed.   In this  we see the exercise  of  love  and  faith.

Today, many people ... out of the depths of their ignorance imagine that any individual who believes in God,  and is a devout and God-fearing person,    must remain idle and spend their days in separation;  and so be considered in the sight of God as one who has forsaken the world and its vanities;  ...  and has set his heart on the life to come, and isolated himself from human beings in order to draw nearer to God.    We must be careful of this "religious delusion".

Other attributes of growth are to fear God,  ... and to love God by loving His servants.

Be a defender of the faith.   This means that the whole population should be protected in every way.   That every effort should be exerted to adopt a combination of all possible measures to raise up the Word of God, and increase the number of believers.

Promote the Faith of God, and exalt it,  and make it  victorious  ... in this  "your" generation.
